These black spots are not algae but are caused by osmosis and mineral deposits like calcium, copper, and iron. Fibre Clear is particularly effective in treating these issues, although it does not prevent the osmosis process itself—meaning the spots may reappear in 4–6 months and require re-treatment.

How Fibre Clear Works:

Preparation: Lower chlorine levels below 1ppm and remove the pool cleaner.
Application: Disperse Fibre Clear around the pool edges or stained areas and leave overnight.
Post-treatment: Run the pool normally for 3 days without adding chlorine.
Final Step: On day 4, super-chlorinate with 4–5 cups of chlorine.
