The pool pump system was over 25 years old and almost every single part had to be replaced. The team replaced the pump, removed all the existing piping, fixed a broken pipe leading from the weir, replaced the broken weir box and collar, and even repaired broken paving — all while working fast and in the rain. We cannot believe how fast they worked!
They went above and beyond, even mixing cement and replacing loose brickwork on the other side of the pool. This team knows pool pumps inside out. Next, we’ll have The Pool Guru resurface the pool and repair the cracked mosaics. Highly recommended!”

Here’s a summary of what The Pool Guru found during their pre-purchase / post purchase pool inspection:
✅ The pool pump would run for 5 seconds before tripping the earth leakage. Upon opening the pump, they found water ingress and damaged windings. The pump was 28 years old and beyond repair — replacement was the only option.
✅ There was a severe air leak behind the skimmer box, which prevented the automatic pool cleaner from working. The paving was lifted, the underground pipe-to-skimmer connection renewed, and the paving relaid.
✅ The filter sand was contaminated with beach sand. The excessive pressure had damaged the filter fingers and through-tank fittings — all of which were replaced.
✅ The multiport valve was badly leaking and needed replacement.
✅ The exposed pipework was brittle and crumbling. It was completely replaced along with the pump and filter connections.
